Join us on Friday 10th December 2021 to celebrate the launch of Bristol’s first beers brewed by adults with learning disabilities.

These beers are the result of our latest people powered partnership - created with the vision of making brewing accessible to ALL!

As you may know we are PROPS, a charity supporting adults with learning disabilities to gain work skills and meaningful employment opportunities, we’ve partnered with Tapestry, a Bristol Brewery who believe that the unsung heroes are what makes projects special.

PROPS trainees worked with the Tapestry team to brew, design, name, and harvest home grown produce to create two tasty craft beers that promise to tickle the taste buds of everyone from craft beer geeks to the traditionalists - ALL INN, a crisp refreshing pale ale, and a subtle Rhubarb infused Belgian Blonde.

Come and celebrate this landmark launch!

Meet the team of trainees and brewers behind this groundbreaking venture and sample these special brews at the launch event on 10 December 2021 from 5pm at Tapestry Brewery in Totterdown, which will be run, catered and even DJ’d by PROPS trainees.

A percentage of the profits from these beers go directly to PROPS to fund their work supporting adults with learning disabilities through access to practical learning, skills development and worthwhile, accessible work-based experiences.

The future of social brewing in Bristol

But not stopping there, having seen the success of this venture in creating meaningful work opportunities for adults with learning disabilities, PROPS have now set their sights on setting up the first Bristol brewery staffed by adults with learning disabilities.

The team have worked closely with Ivybridge Brewing Company - a Devon brewery run by people who have learning disabilities, who are doing so well they are opening a tap room.

Bristol is synonymous with grassroots social enterprises, independent businesses and craft brewing, so there couldn’t be a perfect place for our Social Enterprise Brewery!” - Lara Jaffey, Head of Operations at PROPS.

We can’t wait to see you there!
