Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. On the 6th of July I will start the 500 miles cycle all the way from Bristol to Bordeaux aiming to complete in just 4 days, leaving Bristol Wednesday morning and hoping to arrive in Bordeaux on Saturday afternoon 😊.
Most importantly I am supporting PROPS, a Bristol based charity doing fantastic work helping support young adults with learning disabilities to lead full lives and gain independence. PROPS provide training in workplace skills which are then put into practice in real worthwhile work placement with current initiatives including setting up a new cafe. Sport also provides mental and physical wellbeing for the students with some taking part in the Bristol to Bordeaux ride, having learned to ride a bike with PROPS. I was lucky enough to ride with the team in 2019 and could see for myself the difference the Charity makes both to the students and also their families (once out of education there is very little state support or help available).

The B2B event represents the Charity’s major source of income having raised over £100,000 each year pre COVID and unable to run the past two years we are keen to raise as much money as possible..

All riders in the event pay for their own expenses and unlike other fundraising sites this site takes no commission so every penny raised will go to PROPS.
